Plein Air Participation Fee

WEDNESDAY APRIL 29 - SATURDAY MAY 2, 2026

A 4-day Plein Air Paint Out that culminates with a final show at WINTERS ART & WINE

FESTIVAL on May 2nd from 12am-4pm. Hosted by 1st Street Studio Art Gallery in

Winters, Ca.

Artist Information

• All entries must be painted ‘en plein air’ during the event. Artists are free to paint at

scheduled locations or anywhere within a 20 miles radius of Winters, Ca

• Canvases must be stamped with an official event stamp.

• Each artist may submit 1-2 paintings made during the Paint Out for the Saturday

Show.

• All paintings must be framed & wired for hanging.

• Please bring your finished framed art to Winters Art & Wine Festival at 11am for

hanging.

• All hung artwork must be for sale.

• Artists may set the price and will receive a 60% commission on all sales.

• Awards will be given for People’s Choice 1st Place - $250 and Artists Choice 1st

Place - $250. Ribbons will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd Places for both categories.Plein Air Event Schedule

Wednesday April 29 -

9am - 5pm: Artists Check-In at Park Winters (28850 Co Rd 26, Winters, Ca) and get

canvases/substrates stamped. Paint all day at Park Winters (or within 20-mile radius of

Winters). 12 noon - Meet for BYO lunch at the Farm Stand at Park Winters.(Toilets)

April 30 -

9am - 5pm - Paint at Berryessa Gap Vineyard’s Barn (directions provided at check-in).

Views of The Gap, vineyards, ‘historic’ barn, silo.

May 1st -

9am - 5pm - Paint at Collina de Bella Vineyards - 4245 Morse Lane, Winters, Ca.

Views of Blue Ridge and vineyards. (Toilet provided)

May 2nd -

11am: Artists bring 1-2 paintings to Art & Wine Festival and hang them at Winters Paint

Out Booth in Pocket Park

2pm - 3pm: Awards will be announced

4pm: Artists take their paintings home
